UFC legend Chuck Liddell predicts exactly how Mike Tyson vs Jake Paul fight will end

Chuck Liddell has predicted how Mike Tyson and Jake Paul’s upcoming fight will play out.

Tyson, 57, is set to return to the ring for the first time since 2020 to fight YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul on July 20 at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

Iron Mike last competed in an exhibition match against Roy Jones Jr. four years ago, while his last professional contest came back in 2005.

Tyson, who will be 58 three weeks before the Paul fight, became the youngest heavyweight champion in history at 20 in just his 28th professional fight. He had won 26 of them by knockout.

He went on to become the first heavyweight boxer to simultaneously hold the WBA, WBC and IBF titles in 1987.

Meanwhile, Paul enters the fight fresh from having beaten Ryan Bourland in his 10th professional bout.

Ahead of the encounter, UFC legend Liddell claimed that despite the age difference Tyson was likely to be far too powerful for his counterpart.

"As soon as Tyson hits him, it's over," Liddell told TMZ. "The last thing to go is power."

"If he hits him, it's over. If you've seen Mike, he still hits."

Liddell then sent an ominous warning to 'The Problem Child': "Hey Jake, keep covered up, man."

Nevertheless, Paul announced the fight by claiming he was going to knock Tyson out.

He said on X: "My sights are set on becoming a world champion, and now I have a chance to prove myself against the greatest heavyweight champion of the world, the baddest man on the planet and the most dangerous boxer of all time. Time to put Iron Mike to sleep."

Paul has won nine of his 10 boxing fights, mostly of which have been against former UFC fighters.

His sole defeat came against British heavyweight Tommy Fury back in February 2023.
