Terence Crawford has revealed what he saw during Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson that makes him believe it was 'scripted'.

Crawford retired in December months after beating Canelo Alvarez to become undisputed super-middleweight world champion.

He's enjoying himself away from the ring, having been ringside for Shakur Stevenson's dominant victory over Teofimo Lopez last month.

Despite calling time on his legendary career, Crawford joined Joe Rogan for the latest episode of his podcast.

Rogan and Crawford touched on several topics, including Floyd Mayweather's proposed exhibition against Tyson.

On the topic of 'Iron' Mike, Rogan asked Crawford for his thoughts on the boxing legend's professional bout against Paul.

And 'Bud' didn't mince his words, claiming he thinks Paul vs. Tyson was 'scripted'.

"I think (Paul vs Tyson) was scripted,” he said on The Joe Rogan Experience.

"I ain’t never seen Tyson biting his gloves and like - it was taking all that he could not to hit him.

"It’s heartbreaking to see an icon go like that. He shouldn’t have been in there at all. There’s other ways (to make money).

"I think with all his connections and things like that, people could’ve put him in the right position to make some money."

Crawford, who retired 42-0, added: "He shouldn’t have been in there. At all. I think there’s other ways. I think, with all his connections and things like that, I think people could have put him in the right position to make some money."

Is Mike Tyson facing Floyd Mayweather in an exhibition?

Tyson resumed his decorated pro career against Paul in 2024.

But he is set to return to the ring in an exhibition against Mayweather, which is happening, according to the 59-year-old.

Asked if his exhibition against Mayweather is still in the works, Tyson replied: "Yeah, it’s happening. Sh*t, yeah, it’s happening!

"You think I’d give that up?! I was minding my business! He challenged me.

"We are going to party afterwards, baby! We’ll have a ball afterwards!"

On his health, having suffered an ulcer flare-up that postponed the original meeting against Paul, Tyson added: "I feel incredible.

"Listen I was an extra large [pulls at t-shirt] but we are a large now."
