Tyson Fury's boxing return may have been confirmed as a fight with Anthony Joshua been announced after his upcoming fight with Jake Paul.
On December 19, former two-time unified heavyweight champion Joshua will make his return to the boxing ring for a bout with influencer-turned-boxer Paul at Miami's Kaseya Center.
It will mark the first time that the Brit has fought since his devastating knockout loss to fellow British heavyweight Daniel Dubois in September 2024.
Many fans had hoped that Joshua's much-anticipated return would instead be a long teased battle of Britain with fellow former champion Fury, who announced his retirement in January following consecutive loses to Oleksandr Usyk.

However, it now appears that a fight between Joshua and Fury may still be on after an announcement from legendary boxing promoter Frank Warren.

Throughout their boxing careers, Fury and Joshua have often been linked with a mega fight to finally settle who the best British heavyweight of their generation is.
For various reasons, the fight is yet to materialise, and with both men clearly in the twilight of their careers, many assumed it would never happen.
But, according to Fury's promoter Warren, talks for the fight to finally happen next year are no progressing, with Fury indicating that he will come out of retirement to fight Joshua if the right deal can be agreed.
Speaking to Sky Sports News, Warren revealed: "There's been some talks going on, there's nothing been signed yet, but Tyson's indicated if it's the right deal, he'll definitely do it.
"I think it's going in the right direction and hopefully we'll get some news pretty soon as to what's going to happen."
Warren added: "I do believe it will happen."
The claims come just days after a report from Turki Alalshikh's Ring Magazine claiming that the fight between Joshua and Fury was being lined up for next year.

When asked to give an indication on when the fight will take place, Warren added that Joshua will first have to get past Paul this weekend, while Fury will also likely want a warmup fight at the start of next year.
"AJ's fighting, or whatever you want to call it, this week against Jake Paul and there's talk of him fighting again early in 2026," said Warren.
"Tyson's been out for a while now. He may have a warm-up fight but if this fight happens - which I believe it will - it will be sometime in late summer. So that's another seven months away, so he'll certainly have a fight in between I think if he comes back."
"The fans have been asking for this, and everybody has been talking about it, for years and years and years.
"It's better that if it's going to happen it happens now rather than these guys come back and talk about doing it in five or six years' time.
"It will happen. I think it will happen and when it does happen I think it's going to be massive."
