Jake Paul made a bold claim when asked about plans to make Anthony Joshua vs. Tyson Fury.
Joshua returns to action against Paul on December 19, having not fought since his crushing knockout defeat to Daniel Dubois last year.
His professional heavyweight bout against Paul serves as somewhat of a tune-up before pursuing a blockbuster fight against Fury.
According to The Ring, Joshua and Fury will headline a Riyadh Season mega-event in the fall of 2026.

Joshua and Fury will have run-outs in the first half of 2026 before facing off in a long-awaited clash.
The bombshell news dropped just days before 'AJ' resumes his legendary career against the 28-year-old influencer next Friday.
At the launch press conference for Paul vs. Joshua, 'The Problem Child' was asked about plans to make the all-British showdown.

Pressed on whether he relishes the chance to ruin plans to make Joshua vs. Fury, Paul replied: "Yeah, 100 per cent.
"It's a massive mistake to look past me. I'm putting a stop to all those plans - don't book flights or hotels."
Paul predicted a knockout victory against Joshua and claimed it will be him taking on Fury next year.
"I'm knocking this guy out, becoming the CEO of Matchroom Boxing, changing the plans, and it's going to be me against Tyson Fury next year," he added.
"Look what happened the last time they came to America and the plans they had. Andy Ruiz stopped that. This is Andy Ruiz 2.0."

If Jake Paul beats Anthony Joshua, does the planned Tyson Fury fight still happen?
If Paul beats Joshua in their Netflix bout, it'd send shockwaves through the boxing world.
But it doesn't necessarily mean Joshua vs. Fury won't happen.
After his contest against Paul, the 36-year-old is set to return to action in early 2026 in what could act as a rebound match if he does lose to the YouTuber-turned-boxer.
He'll likely be matched against a favourable opponent, which would then pave the way for a fight against Fury.
It would, naturally, take a little buzz of Joshua vs. Fury but the bout pitting the two British stars against each other is still a major event in its own right.
