Tyson Fury’s immediate response to John Fury’s altercation with a member of Oleksandr Usyk’s team has been revealed.

On Saturday, Fury is set to take on Usyk in one of the most anticipated fights in the history of the sport.

The fight was originally due to take place on February 17 but Fury was forced to withdraw from the bout after sustaining a cut above his eye during sparring.

On Monday, during an event ahead of the bout, Fury’s father, John, was left bleeding after an alleged altercation with one of Usyk’s team.

Now, Fury’s immediate response has been revealed.

According to Boxing News senior reporter Declan Taylor, who wrote on social media: “Scenes at the media day as John Fury, bleeding from the face, shouts ‘Fury’s never run’ after an apparent altercation with a member of Usyk’s team. Mental.

“Tyson Fury, who had been in a side room doing an interview, comes out, takes one look at his dad and says: ‘What’s happened to your head you silly c***?’”

You can watch the footage below, the video contains strong language.

After the altercation, John was heard shouting: “We can't be beat! We can't be beat!

“I live for this f***ing s***! I live for blood, guts and horror! Blood guts and horror! I live for this s***, my boy lives for this s***!”

Fury’s brother, Shane reportedly said: “Is that not f***ing daft? Stupid b****rd, show some respect. Is that not stupid getting in someone's face you f***ing p****.”

Speaking ahead of the fight, Derek Chisora, who fought both Fury and Usyk, made his prediction.

He said: “I don’t know. I was with Usyk this afternoon because we love the same Russian sauna so we were together.

“It’s a short camp for both fighters. By the time they get into the rhythm and try and get everything right its going to be hard, there’s going to be injuries.”

Chisora added: “There’s already signs, they already postponed it. Both men will train hard, so who knows man. It’s hard to call. Tyson has to gee himself up now. His last fight was not a good fight man but he won, he won that fight, simple.

“I said he was going to get knocked down and come back and win the fight. I think that burst some of his bubble. Sometimes you can have a bad day but in boxing, you can’t have a bad day and win the fight.”
