David Haye has responded to the backlash to his comments about "ugly girls" on I'm a Celeb, and he's not backing down.
On Friday night, the live finale of the second season of the special all-stars version of popular reality series I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! is set to air on ITV.
The series, which was filmed in South Africa in late 2025, has featured several controversial moments centring around the feud between former heavyweight boxing champion Haye, Emmerdale actor Adam Thomas and former Soccer AM host Jimmy Bullard.
Both sports stars have been accused of bullying the soap opera star, who is among the favourites to win the series for his reactions to Haye and Bullard.

But it is not only his actions towards Thomas that has landed Haye in hot water with the public, as he also made controversial comments saying his his model girlfriend Sian Osborne, 33, had āthe personality of a proper ugly birdā.
The former boxer went on to explain that 'ugly girls' are not pretty enough to get attention and must be funny in comments that have been labelled as sexist and misogynistic.
However, having seen the backlash to his comments, Haye isn't prepared to back down as he told This Morning: "Ugly girls have better personalities than traditionally beautiful supermodels.
"Everyone's looking for something to be offended by. Who's offended by what I said there? Is it pretty girls, ugly girls, who?"
When read the negative reaction his comments have received from the media, Haye decided to try to further explain his controversial theory with an example.
He added: "If you get a hundred beautiful girls, a hundred ugly girls, put them in the dark. The ugly girls will have a better personality because they've had to develop it through necessity.
"Girls who get everything, who are beautiful from day one, don't have to develop their personality in general because they can get by in life, flying on private jets, getting everything for free. Uglier girls have to have the personality."
This Morning host Ben Shepard then asked why Haye gets to be the one labelling women as ugly or beautiful, to which he replied: "I'm not the arbitrator. I'm saying, in my opinion, the beautiful girls that I see usually have terrible personalities, where uglier girls, fat girls, have much better personalities, more bubbly personalities.
"So I've luckily found a girl who I find a supermodel, in my opinion, and she's got the personality of someone who wasn't beautiful, hasn't had all the doors open for her whole life. So it's like a double win. It's the ugly duckling syndrome."
Haye, 45, has been in a non-monogamous relationship with model Osborne since 2020, with the couple reportedly previously being part of 'throuples' with singer Una Healy and actress Helen Flanagan.
