Chris Eubank Jr never stood a chance in his rematch against Conor Benn, according to former six-weight world champion Oscar De La Hoya, who has given fans "a little tutorial" on boxing.
Benn exacted revenge over an out-of-sorts Eubank Jr on Saturday night as the 29-year-old secured a one-sided unanimous decision victory, with the judges scoring the bout 119-107, 116-110, 118-108 in his favour.
Eubank Jr looked a shadow of his former self throughout the contest.
After failing to make weight for his first fight with Conor Benn in April – a decision that cost him a reported £375,000 – the former IBO super-middleweight champion successfully made weight this time around, clocking in at 159.1lbs.

But some have mentioned that Eubank looked "weight drained" against Benn, including Olympic gold medalist Oscar De La Hoya.

Taking to X on Saturday night, he wrote: "Let me give you a little tutorial on boxing since you all don’t know s---. Eubank never had a chance due (to) weight drain."
Shakur Stevenson, a former world champion in two weight classes, also mentioned weight drain.
"Most people don’t know s--- bout boxing," he said in reply to De La Hoya's above post. "And the Twitter experts gone say well 'he did it the first time'.. Even more reason why he look like that the 2nd fight."
Eubank Jr, who has fought most of his recent career at middleweight, was restricted by a rehydration clause on fight day that prevented him from putting on more than 10lbs.
Earlier this week, Eubank Jr shared two examples of his extreme weight-cutting methods. In one clip, he was wrapped up in a zipped-up sleeping bag and in the other, he was dressed in a full-body sweatsuit while cycling on a stationary bike.
Chris Eubank Jr risked another fine ahead of Conor Benn rematch
Back in July, Eubank was fined £10,000 by the BBBofC after he breached social media guidelines in the build-up to his first fight against Benn.
Eubank was called to a hearing after he posted several videos of himself cutting weight that implied the use of a sauna – something which is not advised by the organisation.
As seen in the clips above, Eubank will be hoping to avoid similar financial penalties in the coming weeks, after he appeared to use a sauna suit while cycling in a bid to lose weight quickly.
While the use of a sauna suit is not officially banned by the BBBofC, promoting the use of “rapid weight-cutting techniques” on social media, like Eubank has done, may still result in yet another sanction.
“Documentation is sent out to the boxers when they get licensed with regard to rapid weight-making measures,” BBBofC general secretary Robert Smith said while speaking to The Athletic earlier this year.
“We send out as much education as we possibly can, but we can’t police everybody.”
