Friendly advice? Distraction tactics? Or is he the next Wayne Bennett in waiting?

Either way, this exchange between an eager NRL fan and Adam Doueihi was absolutely brilliant.

One Manly Sea Eagles supporter decided to have a little fun with the Wests Tigers star as he was lining up to convert a try at Brookvale Oval.

And despite being heckled relentlessly by the opposition fans, Doueihi kept his composure (and a straight face) to slot home the crucial kick.

With Manly leading by 14 points with 12 minutes to play, the hotly-contested NRL clash looked like it was dead and buried.

But that was before Doueihi's heroics with the boot helped the Tigers somehow claw back the score to seal an emphatic 34-32 victory in the dying embers of the game.

22-year-old Doueihi was instrumental throughout the game as he shifted from the centres to fullback seamlessly.

But it was his kicking game which really got Wests Tigers over the line - slotting home from the tightest of angles to help his side move to within four points of the NRL's top eight.

Doueihi even received some friendly coaching tips from a vocal Sea Eagles fan at one point in the game.

"You've got to kick it right, Doueihi," the supporter yelled.

Adam Doueihi bagged the winning try too.

"You've got to kick it right because it's going left.

"You're pointing it to the left! I'm telling you, you're pointing it to the left!

"You've got to compensate! Compensaaaaaaate!"

The enthusiastic spectator remained anonymous because he was out of shot - which actually made the exchange even more hilarious.

Doueihi made no mistake and slotted the kick through the posts with ease.

Bending over to pick up his kicking tee, the Tigers ace then glanced over at the Lottoland stands where the fan was sitting and gave him a cheeky grin.

That's one way to silence your critics.
