Australian boxing sensation Ebanie Bridges has has lifted the lid on her rather unusual side-hustle.

According to Bridges herself, when she's not running rings around her opponents inside the ring she's making cash by selling her used training socks online.

Yes, that's right. Her old, dirty, sweaty training socks.

And some people out there are willing to cough up over $900 for them too.

We know exactly what you're thinking: 'Why on earth would someone want to buy them?'

And if truth be told, we have absolutely no idea - your guess is just as good as ours.

But Bridges thinks she knows exactly why punters are keen to get their hands on a pair.

"I've made a bit of money, I'm not going to lie," she told

"It's so weird though because I feel like I'm selling nudes when I think about sharing a pic of my feet without a sock on it. It's so weird.

"It's got nothing to do with my feet. It's just to do with these people and their fetishes. I don't think they even really care (about my feet)."

Bridges, dubbed the 'Blonde Bomber', is currently undefeated in her professional boxing career with a record of 4-0.

And while she's not going toe-to-toe in the ring (or selling smelly socks to punters online), she works as a maths teacher in Sydney.

It's also understood Bridges runs educational classes to help at-risk children who are suffering from low self-esteem or anxiety issues.
