IShowSpeed lived up to his name when he came up against the Olympic 200m champion and appeared to come out on top.

The streaming sensation, real name Darren Watkins, has been taking part in a whole host of sprint races against athletes in recent times.

In November 2024, Speed squared off against his first Olympic gold medalist in Noah Lyles - with the two going head-to-head in a 50m dash with $100,000 on the line.

Speed started off well but the US sprinter soon turned it on and got out in front to win the race - denying calls for a rematch and donating his winnings to charity.

Since then, the 20-year-old has raced Liverpool legend and pundit Jamie Carragher and beat viral fitness star and former American football running hall Ashton Hall a staggering four times in a row.

He then raced a real life cheetah in a bizarre stunt which went viral but his latest race saw him go back to the big time by taking on Letsile Tebogo.

Taking place on a track with a large crowd of fans in attendance, the two lined up and darted away after the gun sounded.

However, Botswana's first ever gold medal winner slipped early on and that allowed Speed to capitalise and cross the line first.

Delighted with his efforts, after the race Speed stated, "I won that though!". He proceeded to shake hands with Tobogo and offered him a second race, asking, "You want to go again?".

The 22-year-old was humble and replied: " No it's fine, I'll let you take the win".

Last year, Speed challenged Olympian Sha’Carri Richardson to an impromptu race around the Super Bowl festivities but she turned down as his offer, replying, "I don't race for free".

The pair did appear to agree to race in the future, but Speed has been busy showing his athletic prowess since then.

In his 'Speed goes Pro' series on YouTube, mixing it up with seven-time Super Bowl winner Tom Brady in football, having a WWE match with the help of Randy Orton and breaking a sprint world record to leave NBA legend Kevin Durant stunned.

Speed has received offer from Usain Bolt

In May, Usain Bolt, the fastest man on the planet, made an offer to coach Speed to help him become even faster.

Speed shared an Instagram video sent from the Jamaican legend where he said they can “link up any time”.

"I'm retired now, so I'm not running," the eight-time Olympic champion said.

"But I can coach you to go faster. You're already fast, but everybody wants to be faster, right?"

Speed was more than up for the link up and responded “Let’s lock that training session in
