IShowSpeed raced against a wild cheetah in an incredible race which was uploaded on his channels.

The 20-year-old, real name Darren Watkins, has participated in a whole host of challenges in recent times - enjoying sprint races against athletes like Noah Lyles.

In November 2024 he went up against Olympic gold medalist Lyles in a 50m dash with $100,000 on the line.

Speed started well but Lyles soon turned it on and got out in front to win a race that was perhaps closer than many had anticipated.

The streamer has also raced Liverpool legend and pundit Jamie Carragher and beat viral fitness star and former American football running hall Ashton Hall four times in a row.

With his athletic qualities, Speed has expressed a serious interest in competing at the Olympics one day.

And in his latest stunt, he came up against a cheetah and posted the footage on his YouTube channel. The cheetah, which can typically run at 60–75 mph with extremely fast acceleration. The cheetah was locked in a cage and ready to be released at the same time as Speed, who was on his marks and ready to dart away.

The race began and there was a beautiful overview of a shirtless Speed pelting it against a cheetah.

The American, who has made cameo appearances in WWE, gave it his all but as expected came second best.

However, with quite the rush of adrenaline, Speed pulling a priceless facial expression and claimed he came out on top, stating, "I won?!".

He then added, "I am Speed!" and urged people to subscribe to his channel, with the video amassing 60,000 likes and 483,000 views.

Speed has been trying his hand at a number of sports in his 'Speed goes Pro' series on YouTube, mixing it up with seven-time Super Bowl winner Tom Brady in football, having a WWE match with the help of Randy Orton and breaking a sprint world record to leave NBA legend Kevin Durant stunned.

Last year he challenged Olympian Sha’Carri Richardson to an impromptu race in the Super Bowl festivities but she turned down as his offer, replying, "I don't race for free".

The pair did appear to agree for a showdown at some point in the future as Speed looks to continue to live up to his name.
