Confirmed Teams: Crystal Palace vs Chelsea | Premier League

The confirmed team news is in from Selhurst Park as Chelsea face Crystal Palace.

Chelsea face Crystal Palace in the Premier League and the confirmed team news is in from Selhurst Park.

Graham Potter takes charge of his first league game as Chelsea head coach following his appointment last month to succeed Thomas Tuchel.

A win for the Blues will lift them closer towards the top four spots, but Potter has never beaten Palace as a manager after seven tries and Patrick Vieira will be hoping to extend that to eight matches.

The 47-year-old drew his opening game so will want his first win as boss as soon as possible, but will have to do so without Edouard Mendy, Marc Cucurella, N'Golo Kante and Carney Chukwuemeka.

He said ahead of the game: “N'Golo is fine in terms of coming through the rehab stages. He has been on the grass with the team but not in full training.

"We have a bit of illness with Marc Cucurella and also Carney Chukwuemeka.

"Apart from that everyone is fit.”

Potter is looking forward to the game and insists his team are ready for the London derby following the conclusion of the international break.

"Selhurst Park is always a challenge," he told Chelsea TV. "Patrick has done a fantastic job. The team is a strong team with organised collective, strong individuals, so we know that. We are looking forward to it, the boys are ready. We have huge respect for the challenge that awaits us."
