Confirmed Teams: Brighton vs Chelsea | Premier League

Chelsea face Brighton & Hove Albion in the Premier League and the confirmed team news is in from the Amex Stadium.

Chelsea face Brighton & Hove Albion in the Premier League and the confirmed team news is in from the Amex Stadium.

Graham Potter returns to his former club on Saturday afternoon as Chelsea look to make it ten games unbeaten since the 47-year-old took charge last month.

Chelsea are vying for a top four spot, while Brighton are searching for their first win under new boss Roberto De Zerbi, with the Seagulls without a win in their last five games.

Potter is looking forward to returning to the south coast, a place where he spent three seasons and enjoyed some good times with Brighton.

But the now Chelsea head coach knows he won't be welcomed by everyone and accepts that is part of being a manager.

He said: “A place where I spent three happy years there. Looking forward to going back.

"The timing wasn't great for anybody, but sometimes that happens.

"Then it's a decision, and a decision to work here was too hard to turn down.

"Most I've spoken to from Brighton have been supportive and thankful but I'm not naive, I know it isn't universal.”

Potter added: "Great bunch of lads, top staff, I enjoyed my time there. It's going to be very difficult.

"We've won our games, picked up points with some luck. Brighton haven't had much luck. Both want to win, it's going to be a good game."
