Chelsea are on the verge of signing Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang from Barcelona, according to reports.
The 33-year-old is set to make the switch to Stamford Bridge after only joining Barcelona in January from Arsenal.
Aubameyang has been targeted as one solution to Chelsea’s attacking problems as Thomas Tuchel eyes more attacking threat from his side.
Talks have been ongoing for weeks and a deal looks set to be nearing following discussions. As reported by The Athletic, Chelsea’s latest proposal is believed to be worth around €7.5 million plus Marcos Alonso.

Claims in Spain state that Aubameyang is ready and prepared to travel to London to finalise his switch back to the capital.
He is now awaiting instruction to complete his move to become a Chelsea player.
After having his house broken into and suffering a broken jaw as well as injuries to his ribs, Aubameyang is set to be out for several weeks, however that has not deterred Chelsea’s interest.

They are expected to offer him a two-year contract, as per The Athletic, with the option of a further year which will be based on the percentage of appearances during his second year in west London.
Chelsea are set for a busy Deadline Day with a midfielder eyed as they look to resolve their midfield injury crisis.
Despite Tuchel’s earlier insistence on Chelsea not needing another midfielder earlier in the window, they are now targeting an addition on the final day of the window.

Ibrahim Sangare and Edson Alvarez have been linked but moves will be hard to do due to the Eredivisie sides not being able to place because of their transfer window already closing.
Departures in the midfield could still also happen. Billy Gilmour has been linked with Brighton, but the new owners are reluctant to sanction a permanent move.
Gilmour hopes they will soften their stance, as reported by The Athletic, with Tuchel open to letting the Scottish international leave.
Talks are being held today with the Chelsea boss to decide on his future, with many suitors showing loan interest.

Brighton are unable to sign him on loan due to already having Levi Colwill, so only a permanent deal to the south coast would be possible.
One thing that is for certain, Aubameyang is Chelsea bound.
