Chelsea have already made seven summer signings following Wednesday's arrival of Wesley Fofana from Leicester City. He has joined Raheem Sterling, Kalidou Koulibaly, Gabriel Slonina (returned to Chicago Fire on loan), Carney Chukwuemeka and Marc Cucurella at the club.
Thomas Tuchel is ready to add to his midfield after recent injury and fitness problems that has left N’Golo Kante, Mateo Kovacic and Ruben Loftus-Cheek suffering issues, and approaches have been made for Ajax’s Edson Alvarez and PSV’s Ibrahim Sangare.
