Tyson Fury Responds To Drew McIntyre's Call Out After WWE Star Beats Brock Lesnar At WrestleMania

Tyson Fury has accepted Drew McIntyre's stunning challenge after the Scotsman called for a showdown following his heroics at WrestleMania 36.

McIntyre defeated Brock Lesnar to become the first ever British WWE champion at WrestleMania 36.

And the 34-year-old wasted no time in calling out Fury whose since responded by accepting his challenge.

The WBC heavyweight world champion took to social media to address McIntyre's call out.

"Drew McIntyre has call me out after his @wwe Wrestlemania 36 victory, first I say congratulations and what a fantastic job. Secondly I accept his challenge, anytime any place, anywhere," he wrote on Instagram.

Fury made his in-ring WWE debut last year at Crown Jewel when he beat Braun Strowman by count-out.

McIntyre, meanwhile, spoke to talkSPORT after dethroning Lesnar of the WWE title.

"I don't even know what to say, I'm sat here with the belt in America thinking what is life right now," he said

"I just became the first WWE champion - I just told my mate and I'm now about to speak to Ally McCoist about it.

"It's an incredible feeling. It would have been nice to have the 80,000 fans inside the stadium and my family but I'm still so proud.

"Hopefully - this is 19 years of work - it has put a smile on people's faces.

"When it gets backs to normal, the next thing I want to do is fight Chris Sutton.

"And Tyson Fury was talking trash, let him know I've won the belt and after I beat Sutton I'm coming for Fury."

The man from Ayr added: "I was signed in 2007, the first Scot, I went to America at 21 and had success.

"Vince McMahon told the world I would be world champion but I made some mistakes.

"But I worked my a*** off, I didn't work from scratch, I worked from ten feet under - I know Fury went through something similar.

"If you put your mind to it and work hard enough you can be world champion."
