WWE Superstar Reggie Chooses Between Facing Roman Reigns Or Brock Lesnar At WrestleMania

WWE Superstar Reggie Chooses Between Facing Roman Reigns Or Brock Lesnar At WrestleMania

The current Universal and WWE champions are scary customers.

WWE superstar Reggie has said facing Universal Champion Roman Reigns at WrestleMania would be the lesser of two evils compared to WWE Champion Brock Lesnar.

Reigns has run roughshod over SmackDown for over 500 days while Lesnar became WWE Champion for a sixth time at Day 1 earlier this month.

Whoever wins the Royal Rumble on Saturday night is very likely to be facing at least one of these men and speaking exclusively to SPORTbible, Reggie discussed why he'd take on 'The Head of the Table' over 'The Beast Incarnate'.

"I mean... that is a hard choice!" he begun. "But it's actually quite easy if that makes any sense. Because yes, you have the 'Head of the Table' Roman Reigns who has been Universal Champion for 500-plus days, but then you have Brock who has been a monster among men his entire career.

"Just the presence of being around him in the locker room, sometimes you can feel it. So I can't even imagine being face to face with Brock on the granddaddy of them all WrestleMania, going face to face with that man, I would be legit terrified.

"As hard as it is, it's easy for me to say I would definitely rather face Roman."

Lesnar returned to WWE at SummerSlam back in August after being away for over a year and immediately entered a feud with Reigns.

He lost at Crown Jewel and was set to face Reigns again at Day 1 before the latter missed out due to testing positive for Covid-19.

Lesnar was then inserted to the WWE Championship match between Big E, Bobby Lashley, Kevin Owens and Seth Rollins, emerging as winner.

Both men will defend their championships against Lashley and Rollins respectively at the Rumble so there is a chance neither man leaves with gold.

Former 24/7 Champion Reggie is yet to be confirmed for this year's Rumble, but he's had an incredible year no matter what happens.

After bursting onto the scene as Carmella's sommelier, he split from her and formed an alliance with Sasha Banks as well as former WWE Women's Tag Team Champions Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler.

Not long after he became 24/7 Champion and is the longest reigning champion in history at 113 days.

"I mean, just to say right now, if I'm not in the Royal Rumble, everything thus far has been super incredible," Reggie declared. "I know people wait, like years and years before they even get their first appearance on a premium live event.

"And so for this, to be the longest random 24/7 Champion, and being able to participate in one of the biggest, one of the most exciting premium live events that the company holds... it's incredible."

Reggie's involvement with the women's division saw him involved in the Women's Royal Rumble last year with Carmella.

Would he jump at the chance to make history and enter it however?

"Of course I would," he immediately replied. "You know I'm here for any opportunity that presents itself. you know whatever opportunity presents itself I'm totally here for it.

"Most definitely being in the men's Royal Rumble would be amazing. But like I said being on the show in general is a blessing in itself."

Just one more thing to settle. Would he rather face RAW Women's Champion Becky Lynch or SmackDown Women's Champion Charlotte Flair?

"I would most definitely rather face Big Time Becks," Reggie said with a smile on his face.
