Fans have been left shocked after finding out the reported minimum salary for a WWE superstar.

WWE is now the largest wrestling promotion in the world and it includes touring brands Raw and SmackDown.

Big stars such as John Cena, Dwayne Johnson and Rye Mysterio will for sure have earned a large amount of money since being involved with WWE.

However, fans have now been shocked by what the minimum salary for a WWE superstar is.

As reported by Wrestling Observer Newsletter’s Dave Meltzer, via Wrestle Talk, the current WWE main roster minimum salary is $350,000 per year.

As this is only a minimum figure, it is believed that the top WWE stars will take home a lot more than the initial $350,000.

Reacting on social media, one fan said: “S**t that’s good on a per year basis. Obviously the main event talent get paid more but $350K a year on the main roster is great.”

Another tweeted: “I should bookmark this post for the next time I question a WWE talent for doing a cheesy gimmick.”

A third fan added: “Free money for doing something you love.”

Someone else wrote: “I feel like this went down. Almost certain it was 500k a few years ago but the roster is massive now so makes sense.”

A fifth commented: “It’s still not enough. hotel, food, travel, health insurance, taxes, and investments, still comes out of their pockets.”

Another fan said: “That’s crazy good man. I’m fairly sure I’ve heard of people only getting 35K at one point. Times have changed for the better!”

One user added: “Not a bad chunk of change - glad everyone in the business is making more money than ever before.”
