Logan Paul has been banned from entering country he's never even visited

Paul revealed he's not allowed to enter the country.

If you had the opportunity to ban Logan Paul from visiting your country just because, would you take it?

The WWE star, exhibition boxer and YouTuber is certainly a polarising figure and no stranger to controversy.

He previously caused worldwide outrage with his infamous visit to Aokigahara, a forest in Japan, where his team chose to include the censored image of the body of a man who died by suicide in a YouTube blog.

Paul later repeatedly apologised for the video and said he was unlikely to return to Japan unless formally invited.

Now, he claims he's been banned from entering another country, Egypt, where the national government took the unusual step of refusing his right to visit despite the fact he's never visited before.

Paul, who has more than 23 million subscribers on YouTube, wanted to travel to North Africa to collaborate with YouTube thumbnail-made-flesh MrBeast on the latter's exploration of the pyramids.

However, the Egyptian authorities reportedly slammed the door when Paul was named in the travelling party.

"MrBeast uploaded a new video exploring the pyramids and I love the pyramids so I was like ‘Jimmy [Donaldson, MrBeast's human name] can I come?’ He’s like, ‘for sure’," Paul told his colossal YouTube audience.

"And then a week later he called me, ‘Unfortunately the Egyptian government said that you can’t come otherwise we can’t come.'

"And I was like wait what, I know I pissed people off, but the Egyptian government? I’ve never even been to Egypt."

When asked by Paul about the reason for the decision, Donaldson apparently told him that "the government specifically said you are the only person that cannot come on this trip".

It seems Paul's tendency to irritate crosses borders even he can't. While his inability to visit the pyramids is clearly frustrating, the ban could also affect future opportunities in boxing and with the WWE should either plan to take him to Cairo.

The influencer has been part of WWE bookings since 2021 and held the United States Championship belt for 273 days. He also has a handful of boxing bouts under his actual belt, along with a string of appearances in film and television.
