Logan Paul Impresses With Wild Frog Splash Through WWE Announce Table At SummerSlam

Logan Paul proved he’s a natural in his second-ever WWE match, pulling out all the stops including a wild frog splash to entertain the crowd.

The internet sensation signed for WWE early last month after impressing in his debut match at Wrestlemania 38 earlier in the year.

He had teamed up with The Miz to take on Dominik and Rey Mysterio and didn’t look a touch out of place on that occasion.

This time around it was his first-ever singles match against his then partner, The Miz, and while Logan had seriously impressed with his natural charisma, this was his chance to show off his ability in the ring.

Without a partner to guide him, it was make or break for Logan.

And he seriously smashed it out of the park.

One particular moment during the match saw Paul attempt a move that even the most talented of WWE superstars cringe at the thought of.

The YouTuber had his opponent laid out on the commentary table, and as any wrestling fans know, if you have someone on that table the chances are we’re in for a big collision.

Paul took it that one extra step, however, as he hopped back into the ring and climbed to the top rope.

Fans held their breath in anticipation, as Paul found his footing perched some distance away from his motionless victim.

He had a few choice words for The Miz’s wife and manager Maryse before he took flight soaring threw the air and hitting a picture-perfect frog splash through both the former WWE champion and the announce table.

It was a thing of equal parts beauty and chaos, and the impact was insane.

A frog splash that the great Eddie Guerrero would be proud of.

Many WWE superstars won’t even attempt something so dangerous, so for Paul to pull it off in his second encounter in the ring goes to show how seriously he is taking his WWE stint.

Even though Paul has struggled to win over the WWE fans, after being mercilessly booed on WWE Raw over the past few weeks, everyone had to stand up and applaud his guts and ability.

WWE legend Mick Foley tweets: “Not going to lie… THAT WAS IMPRESSIVE! Logan Paul off the top with the splash is going to make some highlight reel for sure!”

ESPN reporter Marc Raimondi said: “Logan Paul has no right to be this good at pro wrestling, but he is.”

Another fan said: “Logan Paul may be the best in ring, technically sound celebrity that WWE has ever had. He looked incredible in there with The Miz. That may have been the best celebrity performance of ALL TIME.”

Beyond his giant frog splash, Paul looked generally impressive and freakishly athletic throughout the match and managed to capture his debut singles win over his rival.

Can’t wait for more Logan Paul matches in the future.
