A WWE legend has hit out at Donald Trump after the US President received widespread criticism for his comments following the death of film director Rob Reiner.
American film director Reiner and his wife, producer Michele Singer Reiner, were found dead in their home in Brentwood, California, on Sunday.
Police are investigating the deaths in the affluent area of California as suspected homicide.
Their son, Nick Reiner, 32, has been arrested and is being held in custody on suspicion of murder.

Following Reiner's death, Trump took to Truth Social, accusing the film director, who was a vocal critic of the president, of suffering from what he called Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS).
He wrote: "He was known to have driven people CRAZY by his raging obsession of President Donald J. Trump, with his obvious paranoia reaching new heights as the Trump Administration surpassed all goals and expectations of greatness, and with the Golden Age of America upon us, perhaps like never before.
"May Rob and Michele rest in peace!”

It is unclear what the president was referencing, but he frequently uses the term TDS to describe his critics.
Trump's comments have drawn fierce criticism from across the world.
Musician Jack White write: “Trump you disgusting, vile, egomaniac, loser, child.
"To use someone’s tragic death to promote your own vanity and fascist authoritarian agenda is a corrupt and narcissistic sin.
"Shame on you Trump and anyone who defends this.”
Former professional wrestler and WWE legend Mick Foley shared White's message and added his own comment.
He wrote: "What @officialjackwhite said here is spot on. How any of my @wwe colleagues can stand by, let alone stand next to this man is beyond me."

Trump has also received criticism from figures within the Republican Party.
New York Congressman Mike Lawler wrote on X: "This statement is wrong.
"Regardless of one's political views, no one should be subjected to violence."
Kentucky Congressman Thomas Massie described the comments as “inappropriate and disrespectful discourse about a man who was just brutally murdered”.
Trump was later asked by reporters inside the White House about the criticism he received from within his own party over the Truth Social and he doubled down on his remarks.
He said: "Well, I wasn't a fan of his at all.
"He was a deranged person as far as Trump is concerned.
Trump continued: "He became like a deranged person. Trump derangement syndrome.
"So, I was not a fan of Rob Reiner at all in any way, shape or form. I thought he was very bad for our country."
