The Rock has teased who could be John Cena's final opponent as he hinted at his own return to WWE.
Cena, 48, is one of the greatest wrestlers of all time, but he will retire from the sport at the end of the year when his 'Farewell Tour' comes to an end.
Over the weekend, he took part in the seventh edition of Crown Jewel, defeating his old rival AJ Styles.
However, fans have continued to speculate over who Cena's final opponent will be when he steps into the ring for the last time. Now, on the New Heights Podcast, Dwayne Johnson has revealed that he will have some involvement in deciding Cena's last opponent.

He said: “I have a tiny bit of influence in the booking of it, but it really is whoever John wants, really, that's what it comes down to.
“It's not me, Nick Khan, or Triple H; it's whoever John wants. That guy's earned it.
“And you know what, the best part about John is he comes as advertised. So who you think he is, that's who he is, and he's a good dude, and I love that guy.”

One name strongly linked as a potential final opponent for Cena has been Adam 'Edge' Copeland.
The Canadian wrestler has enjoyed two separate spells with WWE, first between 1998 and 2011, and again from 2020 until 2023.
He is currently signed with All Elite Wrestling (AEW), where he has been a major success. However, many fans still believe he will return to WWE one day
Recently, Copeland sparked further speculation when he posted on social media that he was "going home", which reignited rumours of a comeback.

At the post-show press conference for last weekend's Crown Jewel, there were also chants for Edge, which officials did not attempt to quieten down.

However, wrestling journalist Dave Meltzer has played down talk of Edge making a WWE return.
He said: "When Adam Copeland, a couple weeks ago, did the thing where he said he was going home, all of a sudden, people were like, 'He’s going to be John Cena’s last opponent,' which, of course, that’s not the case.

"Can’t happen. He’s under contract."
Meltzer also played down the significance of the chants for Edge at Crown Jewel, suggesting that Triple H was simply trying to ignore them.
It now seems unlikely that Copeland will not be Cena's last opponent.
Reports suggest that Cena's farwell match will instead come against former world champion Gunther at Saturday Night's Main Event on December 13 at Capital One Arena in Washington D.C.
