John Cena's Instant Response to Question About Donald Trump While Being Filmed

Cena was stopped by the fan at an airport.

John Cena was quick to respond to a fan who asked him a question about US President Donald Trump - while filming him.

Cena has just four dates remaining before he retires from professional wrestling.

He defeated AJ Styles at WWE Crown Jewel: Perth on Saturday in what was a critically-acclaimed match.

Speaking in May, he stated that he was retiring now 'because my body's so beat up'.

His next WWE appearance will be on November 10 in his home state of Massachusetts.

In the meantime, Cena is working on other projects - and was approached by two fans at a US airport on Tuesday.

One fan requested an autograph from the 17-time WWE world champion, who accepted his request.

But a second fan, who was filming Cena, interrupted by asking a question about President Trump.

"Do you think Donald Trump should have won the Nobel Prize?" the fan asked.

Cena quickly responded: "No thank you. No thank you."

There has been speculation that Trump, who is a WWE Hall of Famer, could be present alongside White House officials for Cena's retirement match in Washington DC.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter's Dave Meltzer, Trump will be attending an American football match in the area on the afternoon of Cena's last match.

He also noted that some WWE figures expect 'a ton' of White House officials to be present, though he did not list any specific names.

Trump made several WWE appearances in 2007 in the build-up to a 'Hair vs Hair' match between himself and friend Vince McMahon at WrestleMania 23.

The US businessman didn't compete, with Bobby Lashley (representing Trump) and Umaga (representing McMahon) facing each other in the match.

Lashley defeated Umaga, meaning McMahon had his head shaved on live television by Trump and special guest referee 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin.

It was reported by the Wall Street Journal that Trump inserted a clause into his contract stating that under no circumstances would he have his head shaved.

It has been claimed that Cena will likely face two-time WWE Champion Gunther, who has been absent from WWE television in recent months, in his final match.

The Austrian, who is regarded as one of the best technical wrestlers in the world, last competed on August 2, losing his championship to CM Punk at SummerSlam.
