Big Show claims WWE superstar's wrestling gear smelled like 'rancid yak meat'

WWE legend the Big Show has made quite the revelation about one of his former opponents.

Wrestling legend the Big Show revealed that one of his former opponent's gear gave off a "rancid" smell.

The 7ft 2 giant, real name Paul Wight, is one of the most decorated big men in wrestling history and has a total of 23 titles to his name across WCW and WWE.

Show has stepped inside the ring with some of the very best in the business - but also the smelliest as well.

In an interview with Games Radar, the 52-year-old was asked about which wrestler gave off the worst smell in the ring.

And he went for fellow monstrous superstar Kane, who he says the odour from his gloves was so bad that "you just want to faint".

He said: "Kane’s gloves get pretty rank. He grabs you for a chokeslam and you just want to faint. It smells like rancid friggin’ yak meat."

Wrestlers always look a million bucks and their appearance is absolutely everything.

But Show was quick to let everyone know that it's not always so pleasant and it's recommended that attires go in the freezer for hygenie purposes.

He added: "It’s the sweat, it builds up real quick. Kneepads, masks – they suggest you throw them in the freezer for a month [occasionally], to kill all the bacteria."

There is a particularly story, that Big Show himself was responsible for a disgusting smell in the squared circle during the ring with Brock Lesnar.

The two behemoths did battle on a show in South Africa but the bigger man was suffering from food poisoning.

He elected to continue performing but disaster struck as Show is claimed to have exploded with diarrhea all over Lesnar when he was slammed to the canvas.

Lesnar told the story in a rare Q&A with Rod Pederson.

Pederson said: "Lesnar told the amusing/disgusting story of how, one night during a show in South Africa, The Big Show had food poisoning.

"Lesnar slammed him to the canvas and his opponent exploded with diarrhoea all over him!"
