A post revealing what the WWE stars of 2006 were getting paid has gone viral on social media and fans can't believe how much they were earning.

In 2006, the WWE boasted superstar talents like Triple H, Kurt Angle, The Undertaker, Shawn Michaels, John Cena and The Big Show to name but a few.

And they were reportedly pocketing huge sums of money, which included other perks such as first-class flights and accommodation paid for.

According to the tweet, Triple H was not only earning a whopping $2,013,000, but was also allowed to use the company jet and had first-class flights, accommodation and ground transportation paid for every week.

The Undertaker also had first-class fights and hotel accommodation paid for as he earned $1,811,000.

Shawn Michaels had a similar arrangement with the WWE while picking up $1,045,000.

Batista and Randy Orton, among others, also received huge salaries in the WWE in 2006.

The reported salaries of the WWE roster in 2006 sent social media wild.

One Twitter user wrote: "Triple H really played the Game and won."

A second tweeted: "Undertaker, HHH & Cena were LIVING."

A third added: "Okay Shawn Michaels... Didn’t expect him to earn more than Randy but I get it."

A fourth said: "Feel like likes of Cena and Orton were getting underpaid especially when you consider how much merch they probably sold."

A fifth commented: "All I'm seeing is that Rey Mysterio was underpaid."

Another wrote: "Edge deserved more pay than what he was getting especially for that feud with John Cena."
