The pro wrestler who was viciously attacked by Raja Jackson has issued a defiant statement through his brother, Andrew Smith.
Stuart Smith - also known as 'Syko Stu' - was attacked by Jackson, son of UFC legend Quinton 'Rampage' Jackson, during an unplanned assault at an independent professional wrestling event in Los Angeles.
Jackson entered the ring, slammed Stuart onto the canvas and punched him repeatedly in the head in terrifying footage that was streamed live on Kick and later posted on YouTube.
It was the second incident between the pair after Smith had struck Jackson with a beer can on the side of his head outside the venue.

'Rampage' took to social media to apologise on behalf of his son and claimed the amateur MMA fighter suffered a concussion from a spar just days before the shocking incident.
The Los Angeles Police Department took a police report on the night and have since launched an investigation.

Andrew, brother of Stuart, has released a series of statements on social media, claiming he is conscious and 'does have some recollection of the events' from the show.

In doing so, he relayed a message from Stuart, who has broken his silence since being attacked.
"Good Morning. Thank you for the outpouring of support. Stuart is conscious and does have some recollection of events from the day of the attack," he wrote on Facebook.
"Thank you everyone for reaching out, it’s been difficult to get back to everyone individually. We will be setting up something for anyone wishing to donate. I will update with a link when possible. He’s currently resting and says, 'Thank you for the love and support'."

In another Facebook post, Andrew added: "Stuart is resting since he sustained severe injuries to his head. He is currently conscious and able to talk but will have a difficult recovery ahead.
"With all the media and social media attention it's been hard to get back to everyone. Stuart Smith appreciates all the love and support. He loves wrestling, his wrestling family, and all his fans and supporters. Wrestling has been a huge part of his life and he lives to put on a performance. He's also just a regular guy with a life and family outside the ring. His wife Contessa has set up a go fund me for those wishing to donate.
"We appreciate all the support during this difficult time, Thank you."
