Logan Paul suffered a serious injury at WWE Crown Jewel, he still managed to finish match

Logan Paul has revealed he suffered a knee injury during his headline fight with Roman Reigns at this year’s WWE Crown Jewel.

Paul’s clash with Reigns was the last of eight fights on the night, which was held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on 5 November. The 27-year-old YouTuber-turned-professional wrestler ultimately lost the match, which had been for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship.

The end of the fight saw both Reigns’ team The Bloodline and members of Paul’s entourage, including brother Jake, interfere. Paul took out members The Bloodline with a dive, however his opponent soon got the upper hand with a Superman punch as Paul re-entered the ring, before eventually winning with a spear.

And, shortly after the show, Paul revealed on social media the extent of a leg injury sustained during the match.

On Twitter he wrote: “Torn meniscus, MCL & potentially ACL.

“Happened halfway through the match. keep y’all updated.”

Later, an Instagram Live video showed Paul joking about the injury with his brother Jake while another video showed his girlfriend wheeling him around in a wheelchair holding crutches.

Elsewhere on the night, Brock Lesnar defeated Bobby Lashley by pitfall in the opening match, while Damage CTRL became the new Women’s Tag Team Champions with victory over Alexa Bliss and Asuka.

In the penultimate fight of the evening, Bianca Belair successfully defended her Raw Women’s Championship belt by beating Bayley in a Last Woman Standing match.

The pay-per-view event, which was the eighth to be held in Saudi Arabia, forms part of the WWE’s ten-year partnership in support of Saudi Vision 2030, an initiative designed in part to develop the country’s public service sectors, including tourism.
