Current AEW star and WWE legend Chris Jericho has claimed he was going to bite off the nose of Brock Lesnar during a backstage incident.
The wrestler appeared on the True Geordie podcast where he delved into a 2016 incident between himself and the beast that is Brock Lesnar, and how close he came to biting ‘his f***ing nose off’.
The moment happened backstage at Summerslam 2016 following the main event between Lesnar and Randy Orton, a matchup Lesnar won by viciously elbowing Orton in the head until he was bleeding.
Clearly not being clued in on whether the finish to that match had been planned or not, Jericho took offence to events that played out and decided to confront the 280lbs former UFC Champion.

When asked if he stood up to Lesnar that night, Jericho told Geordie: “Yeah I did, and I’d f***ing stand up to him right now.”
He went on to explain how close the pair came to tussling and revealed that Lesnar made some horrendous comments.
He continued: “He was doing a match with Randy Orton and he was basically like just butchering him with elbows to the head and I didn’t know if it was planned or not, and nobody would tell me.

“But, elbows to the side of the head can kill you, if you get hit hard enough in the temple you can die.”
Considering WWE changed to a PG rating in 2008 and outlawed blood on their shows, no wonder Jericho was confused about whether Lesnar had legitimately tried to hurt Orton or not.
He detailed: “I was f***ing angry about it and Brock came back and saw I was angry about it and decided he wanted to come challenge me.

“I was like f*** this guy, like I don’t f***ing care how big he is, it’s f***ing wrong and I will stand up for what I believe in until the death.
“I remember being nose to nose with the guy and he’s laughing and he was actually saying things that would probably get him cancelled, like homophobic terms that he shouldn’t be saying.”
Jericho continued, and explained the moment he almost went Mike Tyson-esq on Lesnar.

He added: “I see this big, giant, fat nose, and I’m like if he comes any closer and takes a swing at me… I’m literally going to bite his f***ing nose off.
“He might kill me but he’s going to walk around for the rest of his life with no nose.”
There’s not many ways you could make Brock Lesnar even more terrifying, but having him walk around with no nose would certainly be one of them.
Nowadays Lesnar and Jericho are in two different companies, but perhaps they’ll finish off their tussle one day in the future.
