An arm wrestling champion left a WWE superstar completely livid after beating him in a heated encounter.
Back in 2021, Braun Strowman, whose real name is Adam Scherr, faced off against Devon Larratt at the Power Armwrestling Championship in Orlando, Florida. The hotly-contested clash was Larratt’s first after recovering from deep-vein thrombosis, but one he’d go on to win with ease.
Braun, who had at the time been released by the WWE before returning (and being released again this year), confidently approached the table to face the 50-year-old. Taunting Larratt, Braun felt he’d enjoy a comfortable win over the Canadian but ultimately struggled to secure victory.
Larratt, meanwhile, showcased his experience to defeat Braun, who took umbrage to the former’s exploits both during and after the match. At one point, Larratt was handed a toy version of Mjolnir, the famous Hammer of Thor. In Nordic mythology, it’s said that only those worthy were able to wield Mjolnir.

This left Braun seething and sick of the taunts, he moved to attack Larratt, who himself also had to be held back as they pair almost came to blows.
Larratt also attempted to climb over the arm wrestling table in order to challenge Braun further but was again denied by security on hand to come between the two men.
Braun returned to WWE after the event
Since the event in Orlando, Braun returned to wrestling for three years but left the WWE when his contract with the industry expired last month.

There was talk of the powerhouse wrestler returning on a part-time basis, despite wrestling with his left leg 15% paralysed during his second tenure with the WWE.
Larratt, meanwhile, continues to arm wrestle and is widely considered to be one of the greatest arm wrestlers of all time.
And arm wrestling looks to run in the family, too, with his son, Auden, having recently taken up the sport to carry on the family name.

Auden has routinely arm wrestled alongside his father, appearing alongside Devon in Arm Wars and at the King of the Table.
