Manchester United loanee Ethan Laird scored his first goal for QPR on Tuesday evening, and it was a finish that any striker would be proud of.

The right-back has played four games since he moved to Loftus Road on loan and has already impressed the fans there.

He provided a fantastic assist in their last game against Watford, where they won 3-2.

Now, he has found the back of the net himself with a fantastic run and finish against Hull City.

After the ball was crossed in from the left, the on-loan right-back had found his way into the penalty area.

A lovely timed run across the defenders saw Laird with space close to goal, and his first time finish found the corner of the net.

The goal can be viewed below.

The 21-year-old has clear talent, he has shown that throughout his time in the United academy.

He's had three significant prior loan spells with MK Dons, Swansea City and Bournemouth, where he learned different things at the different clubs.

At QPR now, he's looking to progress further and many United fans are excited about his development, especially after that goal.

"Forget Dest, recall this demon," one fan said.

"I said it, we should've kept this guy," another tweeted.

"Beautiful goal by Ethan Laird… the movement of a striker! Special talent," a third wrote.

The defender will be eager to carry this form into the rest of the Championship season.

QPR will be keen to challenge for the play-off positions come the end of the campaign.

They currently sit in third with 11 points, should they go onto win against Hull, they were 3-0 up at half-time.
