The Possible Destinations Of Facundo Pellistri's Next Loan Have Been Confirmed

The Possible Destinations Of Facundo Pellistri's Next Loan Have Been Confirmed

Sources close to the player have revealed that he will go to one of two possible countries

Facundo Pellistri is with Erik ten Hag's Manchester United squad on tour, but it looks likely that he is heading to one of two possible destinations on another loan next season.

The young winger came up with the goods against Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool in Ten Hag's first fixture in charge last week.

A cool finish past the isolated Alisson gave United their fourth goal of the game in a brilliant counter-attacking style.

This was followed by his 30 minute cameo against Crystal Palace on Tuesday, after not appearing in the 4-1 win against Melbourne Victory.

Now, ESPN Uruguay have reported that the player will be heading on loan again this season.

After a largely disappointing last spell at Alaves, the report added that there are two possible destinations for the winger.

It will not be a return to the Spanish club, where he started just six La Liga fixtures last season.

Instead, it has been said that sources close to the player have confirmed that his next destination will be in either Italy or Portugal.

This would most likely see Pellistri join a club in the Serie A or the Primeira Liga.

The direct club is yet to be confirmed, or decided, on Pellistri's side.

Following his impressive performances so far in pre-season, the player will be hoping to finally get a successful loan spell.

These can be crucial to young talent preparing themselves for the step up to competing at Manchester United.

The midfielder helped the Championship side gain promotion through the play-offs and was a key member in the squad that succeeded.

Now, he will feel more than ready to compete at Old Trafford if he is given the chance.

Unfortunately, the midfielder is yet to appear on the tour as he's been side-lined with a knock.

Although, it was confirmed that his absence, along with Raphael Varane, against Palace was purely precautionary.

The 21-year-old will be hoping to get an opportunity against Aston Villa in United's last friendly down under
