UFC fighter Sean Strickland has branded Dana White a "narcissistic sociopath" and a "psychopath" after his controversial reaction to being metres away from Donald Trump during the shooting at the White House Correspondents' dinner.
White was in attendance at the annual event at the Washington Hilton hotel when shots were fired. Trump, the first lady Melania, and various White House officials were immediately rushed out by Secret Service members.
One police officer was injured in the shooting but was saved by his bulletproof vest.
The suspect, later named as 31-year-old tutor Cole Tomas Allen, was apprehended and Trump took so social media to post an image of him detained on the floor.

After the frightening ordeal, UFC chief White gave a bizarre response to what he had just witnessed - calling it "f***ing awesome" and "a pretty crazy, unique experience".
The 56-year-old, who was sitting in front of the table where Trump was sat, claimed that he "didn't get down" despite the screams and footage which emerged online showed that he appeared almost excited by what was happening.
Strickland, one of the most controversial figures in all of combat sports, was not surprised by how White reacted and gave his honest take on his personality.

"I'm sure Dana White is a sociopath," Strickland stated in an interview which went viral on social media.
"Let's be honest. At that level, what he's accomplished, the s*** he deals with. I'm sure he's a super narcissistic sociopath.
"For him, the lizard brain doesn't compute so he was like, "F***ing bring it on dude, let's go motherf***er'. Which I respect.
"He's a s**k f**k, dude. I mean, come on. Did we not think that? Dana White, the guy's probably a sociopath. I would probably even say a psychopath."
When a reporter pointed out that White is effectively his boss, the former middleweight champion added: "That's why I should be making more money. I gotta deal with these f***ers. Now we know."
Former UFC welterweight Matt Brown also weighed in with a more cutting view on the unusual interview.
Brown, who was in attendance at a concert which saw metal guitarist Dimebag Darrell murdered on stage back in 2004 in Columbus, Ohio, was left "flabbergasted" by what White had to say as he slammed his former boss.
Speaking on The Fighter vs. The Writer podcast, Brown fumed: “I’ve been there when there was a shooting going on, which most people probably haven’t. It is not awesome in any sense of the word. It is not f*cking cool one bit. For him to say that, I did not appreciate that.
"Not that my opinion matters whether I appreciate it, but there’s people whose lives are at risk there. That really blows my mind that someone would say that s**t like that was awesome.
"A dude got shot. Maybe he survived but got shot. That’s a traumatic experience for him. There’s not a single f**king thing awesome about that. People don’t need to be going around shooting people and there’s nothing cool about that. I don’t know why anyone would say that was awesome. That’s the weirdest, most oddball thing I’ve ever heard anybody say.”
Strickland, meanwhile, is gearing up for his next fight when he takes on Khamzat Chimaev in the main event at UFC 328 at the Prudential Center on 10 May.
