Israel Adesanya beat Robert Whittaker to become the UFC middleweight champion on Saturday night at UFC 243 but the most impressive part of his performance was the walk on.

Going into the fight in Australia Adesanya was the interim champion and facing champion Whittaker on his own turf but the New Zealander clearly wasn't intimidated.

The Last Stylebender walked into the arena in Melbourne with a great swagger, was met by three dancers and the four men busted out some moves, before he headed to the octagon.

Despite the fact that the 30-year-old literally danced his way to the octagon he still had plenty of energy left in the tank for the fight.

It took the Nigerian born fighter just till the second round to finish the fight and become the undisputed middleweight champion.

After a furious exchange between the two men Adesanya finished the fight with a brilliant left to Whittaker's face, before busting out his impression of WWE Superstar Batista in the celebration.

After the fight the winner said, "I was in the nosebleeds and now I made his nose bleed.

"He [Whittaker] threw everything we expected. Like I said in the New York fight [v Brunson], we had his Plan A, Plan B, and Plan C. In this fight, we had it all the way up to Z.

"Man, it's honestly unreal. I've said this s*** for so long. They said I had no knockout power - ha, ha, ha."

Next for the new champ could be a step up in weight and a clash with UFC legend Jon Jones. The two have started a war of words and on Saturday UFC president Dana White confirmed that could happen, saying, "Those guys have been talking smack back-and-forth. If Israel wins and he really does want to fight Jon Jones, that's a really big fight."

Who will Adesanya fight next?
