Yoel Romero was awarded over £21 million by a Middlesex County civil court after the court decided Gold Star Performance Products had given him tainted supplements that led to a failed drugs test in 2015.
UFC star Romero failed the test in 2015 following his win at UFC 194 against Ronaldo Souza and was banned by USADA in 2016.
However in April of that year USADA ruled tainted dietary supplements were to blame and overturned the decision. According to ESPN, in May last year the 42-year-old was awarded $27.45 million for the incident.

Speaking to the American outlet, Romero's manager Abe Kawa explained he didn't think his client would get all the money. "I'm absolutely happy, even if zero dollars are collected, that the world knows this man was not a cheater," Kawa said.
"There's no dollar amount that matters more than that, because I live it every day with him."
Speaking about the incident the former interim middleweight title challenger said it wasn't about money for him, "I'm very happy," Romero told ESPN.

"It's not about the money. I'm very happy now that everything is clean and more clear. You cannot live very well when you hear and you see when you post something [on social media] people reply 'Soldier of Steroids.' You cannot sleep very well. ... It's very emotional and important, too, because I know I've never taken anything in my life."
Romero lost his battle for the interim middleweight title to Robert Whittaker before the Australian was promoted to full time champion after Georges St-Pierre dropped the title.
The Soldier of God then beat Luke Rockhold but failed to win the interim title for a second time, but this because he'd weight in too heavy for the victory.

He lost to Whittaker a second time in June 2018, again missing weight and failing to challenge for the title, and followed that up with a loss to Paulo Costa in August last year, after missing time out with an injury.
Despite losses in three of his previous four fights the Cuban will get another chance at being UFC champion in his next fight.
He takes on middleweight champ Israel Adesanya tonight at UFC 248.
