UFC Drop Brilliant UFC 248 Trailer For Israel Adesanya Vs Yoel Romero
UFC have ramped up the excitement for their next big event, UFC 248, by dropping the trailer for the two title matches in the main event.
The show will come from the T-Mobile Arena on Saturday 8th March and will feature Israel Adesanya and Weili Zhang defending their titles in the main event and co-main event.
New Zealander Adesanya is taking on Yoel Romero whilst Zhang, in her first defence, takes on former champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk and the trailer's got us pumped:
The last Stylebender is undefeated in mixed martial arts and has a 7-0 record in UFC since making his debut with a win over Rob Wilkinson at UFC 221.
After beating the legendary Anderson Silva at the beginning of 2019 he won the interim middleweight title against Kelvin Gastelum in April of that year.
He followed up those two marquee wins by beating Robert Whittaker for the undisputed title at UFC 243 where he beat Robert Whittaker.
The New Zealander has been talked about as a future opponent for Jon Jones but his coach, Eugene Bareman, says it's up to him and not the fighter, "I mean, that's the thing, it's not up to Israel," Bareman told Submission Radio.
"I make the decision on the fight. So, come 2021, Israel has to convince me that we should fight Jon Jones. And if I don't feel that we have to, then it's not gonna happen. It's not even Israel's call."

His first defence is against the intense big striking Romero, although the Soldier of God isn't on great form having lost three of his last four fights.
The Cuban remains a dangerous opponent and British contender Darren Till has even joked he's afraid of no one 'except Romero.'
Zhang became the UFC's first Chinese champion when she beat Jéssica Andrade in China back in August last year and faces a tricky first title defence.
Jedrzejczyk won the strawweight title at UFC 185 and made six defences of the belt before losing to Rose Namajunas.
Similar to Romero her current form isn't very good, having lost three of her last five, but she remains someone that can't be taken lightly.
UFC 248 should be an excellent night of MMA.
