Kamaru Usman has been accused of copying Conor McGregor in his UFC career as one fan has branded him a 'fan boy' in a video.

McGregor and Usman have been involved in a war of words after the 'Nigerian Nightmare' defeated Jorge Masvidal at UFC 261 on Saturday.

Usman chalked up his fourth successful welterweight title defence as he stopped his opponent with a stunning second-round KO at the VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena.

However, McGregor took to social media and accused the 33-year-old UFC star of "copying my words and my shots."

Usman has since hit out at the 32-year-old Irish superstar by saying that he can no longer knock out UFC fighters at the 155lb limit, adding that it doesn't match what he can do at 170lbs.

During McGregor's Twitter rant, one MMA fan responded with a clip showing the eerily similar McGregor-esque lines that Usman has said in his career.

Footage used in the video includes when McGregor called out Floyd Mayweather over his reading skills and also when he praised Dustin Poirier as a fighter.

Juxtaposing the aforementioned clips is footage of Usman delivering similar lines during different scenarios.

McGregor continued his rivalry with Usman on Monday after he hilariously posted on Twitter that his Deliveroo driver shared the same name as his UFC rival.

The future UFC Hall of Famer called on his Deliveroo driver to "hurry the f**k up with my dinner" as fans posted hilarious responses on social media.

Following his victory over Masvidal on the weekend, Usman declared that he is the pound-for-pound "best fighter on the planet."

The Nigerian-American star said: "That's up to them, that's not up to me.

"I just need to continue to do what I do and that's dominate every individual. That's my last three opponents and I've finished all three of them. I don't worry about that. I take it a fight at a time.

"If people want to consider me the best, then they can. But as of right now, I do believe that right now I'm pound-for-pound, I am the best fighter on the planet."
