After recently getting into it with Kamaru Usman, Conor McGregor has called out a Deliveroo driver with the same name.

The Notorious fighter took to Twitter to share a screenshot of his Deliveroo order, pencilled in for delivery between 22:25 and 22:40.

But the former two-weight UFC champion wasn't happy with driver 'Usman' - fittingly with the same surname as the UFC welterweight champion - and vented in bizarre fashion.

The Irishman wrote: "Hey @deliveroo, can you tell this bum usman on his little bike to hurry the f**k up with my dinner."

The name of the rider providing McGregor's meal is particularly ironic given his tweets about Usman following 'The Nigerian Nightmare's stunning second round knockout of Jorge Masvidal at UFC 261.

He accused Usman of "copying" his words and shots.

"Usman even copying my shots now. Am I to fight this guy at some stage? I think so," McGregor wrote in a tweet accompanied by a video of him throwing straight punches vs Poirier.

"Can't be copying my words and my shots and not get a smack for it. I like 170lb. It's mine soon."

In a second tweet, he added: "I'm a block at 170lb guys. Give me till end of year at this 155lb weight.

"I'll get the strap and then I'll go up again. After green fungus panties hahaha 'cos any one of these fools can get it' - Usman."

Welterweight king Usman hit back at McGregor, telling him "I finish people. You get finished."

Of course, McGregor wasn't letting up there and he mentioned his 40 seconds victory over Donald Cerrone that Usman was ringside for, as well as questioning him about the Gilbert Burns fight not getting rearranged.

He also accused Usman of taking steroids.

Issuing a second response, Usman said: "I offered you the fight and you went missing. Let's stay humble young man. I already took your pride. Don't make me take your whiskey too ."
