Jake Paul's MMA fight against AJ Agazarm has started to make the rounds again after the YouTuber called out Conor McGregor.

The 23-year-old American fought in two professional boxing fights in 2020 and picked up victories over both YouTuber AnEsonGib and former NBA star Nate Robinson.

And Paul has since turned his attention to McGregor and called on the Irish superstar to meet him inside the squared circle.

The YouTuber previously ventured into the octagon in 2017 for a fight against Brazilian Agazarm.

However, Paul was out of his depth in the fight and found himself repeatedly dominated by the 33-year-old former Bellator fighter.

While the YouTuber's entourage cheered him on cageside, Paul tried to stop himself from getting repeatedly tagged as Agazarm controlled the fight from the top.

Paul's training and fitness for the fight should be brought into question, though, especially as he was spotted eating doughnuts in between rounds.

Agazarm locked in an armbar submission in the second round -- each round being five minutes -- and forced Paul to tap out.

Unsurprisingly, Paul was slated by fans for his performance against Agazarm, especially after his persistent callouts of McGregor and Dillon Danis.

"Gets mounted by one of the best grapplers in the world, friends scream: 'JAKE ESCAPE!' Like, how? LOL," one YouTube commenter wrote.

While another added: "Dude is in an armbar, his friend on the side: 'You almost got him!' LOL. What a joker."

A third said: "It was fun seeing Jake get his a**e kicked, even though it's pretty easy."

And a fourth posted: "Imagine Bisping or McGregor gets Paul into a ring that is locked for six mins. He would be broken into pieces."

UFC president Dana White has staunchly dismissed the idea of booking a fight between McGregor and Paul, adding that the YouTuber 'can't fight.'
