If you thought Israel Adesanya and Paulo Costa had become civil, you only have to watch today's press conference to see it's clearly not the case.
The undefeated pair will do battle for Adesanya's UFC middleweight championship in the main event of UFC 253 at 'Fight Island'.
After a whole lot of animosity and back and forth jabs in the build-up, it looked like the duo had smoothed things over when they had an accidental meeting in Abu Dhabi.

However, things were back to normal and they were back to trading verbals up on stage alongside Dana White - the notable line from Adesanya being "shut the f*** up before I become your stepdad".
Their exchange in the lobby a couple of days back was caught on camera and saw the rivals in great spirits.
After they shook hands, Adesanya gently patted Costa and said he looked "skinny" after he lost a ridiculous amount of weight in an incredibly short window for the bout.

The Eraser replied: "I look lean, never skinny!"
The Last Stylebender advised, "Stay skinny!" and gestured to his own arm, before they went their separate ways. It was all pleasant and a big change from the beef we've been accustomed to seeing.
Adesanya has accused Costa of taking steroids - a claim that the Brazilian has played along with in response. Costa, meanwhile, questioned his opponent's approach during his win over Yoel Romero in March and pledged to 'kill' the Nigerian-born Kiwi.
"I have just one question," he said on Submission Radio.

"Adesanya, why you freezing when you face Romero? You're not a real champion, man. You don't deserve. I will kill you."
It's one off the most anticipated UFC bouts in recent memory and it all goes down at Flash Forum in Yas Island this Saturday.
