Conor McGregor has reacted to the BMF title design in typical fashion.

UFC released the design of the new one-off belt on Friday night ahead of Jorge Masvidal and Nate Diaz's blockbuster main event clash at UFC 224 at Madison Square Garden on Saturday night.

And it didn't take long for McGregor to have his say, taking to Twitter to tell the promotion that he wants it "spit-shined" as well as calling for his own customised "coolest motherfucker" belt.

The BMF title, said to have cost UFC $50,000 (£40,000) for the promotion to make, will not be defended again in the future.

Previously reaction to the belt has been mixed at best, though McGregor, still UFC's biggest star, recently claimed he was the brains behind it.

"I designed that 'Bad Mother Fucker' belt," McGregor said, as per MMA Junkie.

"I actually designed that. I signed off on the design of how they are creating that belt. So most certainly that belt was brought into fruition, brought to life because of me: the real Bad Mother Fucker. So most certainly one of those men is on my radar."

Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson has confirmed that he will be presenting the belt to whoever emerges victorious in the impending war between Diaz and Masvidal.

Johnson, an eight-time world champion in WWE and now the biggest movie star in Hollywood, told Miami native Masvidal of his interest in putting the newly introduced belt around his waist should he win.

And the Great One is delivering on his promise, revealing in an Instagram live chat with UFC president Dana White that he is looking forward to being part of the show at Madison Square Garden.

"This addition to the company and the brand and to the sport, this BMF belt, I think it's brilliant," the 47-year old said, as per ESPN.

"It's so smart and it's just fun, man. That place is gonna be rocking, it's gonna be electrifying. I can't wait to get in there, man."
