Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson has confirmed he will be presenting the BMF title to the winner of the UFC 244 main event slugfest between Nate Diaz and Jorge Masvidal in New York this Saturday.
Johnson, an eight-time world champion in WWE and now the biggest movie star in Hollywood, told Miami native Masvidal of his interest in putting the newly introduced belt around his waist should he emerge victorious.
Doing all I can to make this fight. If I can and you win, I'll put the belt around your waist at MSG - consider it done. Already shaping up to be one of the biggest and most electrifying fights in @ufc history. Can't wait. @GamebredFighter @NateDiaz209 #respect #BMF #UFC244 :zap: https://t.co/nVTIeBtkgv

"This addition to the company and the brand and to the sport, this BMF belt, I think it's brilliant," the 47-year old said, as per ESPN.
"It's so smart and it's just fun, man. That place is gonna be rocking, it's gonna be electrifying. I can't wait to get in there, man."
Johnson also added that he will be making an announcement for "something I wanted to tell the UFC fans and MMA community first."

The BMF title, said to have cost UFC $50,000 (£40,000) for the promotion to make, is a one-off for this eagerly anticipated bout and will not be defended in the future.
Reaction to the belt has been mixed at best, though Conor McGregor, UFC's biggest star, recently claimed he was the brains behind it.
"I designed that 'Bad Mother Fucker' belt," McGregor said, as per MMA Junkie.
"I actually designed that. I signed off on the design of how they are creating that belt. So most certainly that belt was brought into fruition, brought to life because of me: the real Bad Mother Fucker. So most certainly one of those men is on my radar."
