Conor McGregor has sent social media into overdrive as he dropped a major hint of when he will make his sensational return to UFC.
The Irish superstar, 31, has been out of the octagon since his stunning defeat to Khabib Nurmagomedov at UFC 229 in October last year.
But McGregor has broken his silence on Twitter by tweeting out a location and date.
He posted: "Dublin, December 14th."
The date that the 'Notorious' posted on social media coincides with UFC 245, which will be held at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

McGregor has been clear about his intention to return to the octagon -- despite initially claiming that he retired in March -- and demanded for a rematch with Khabib after his stunning victory over Dustin Poirier.
Speaking of Poirier, the former interim lightweight champ also dropped a teasing message on social media when he would return to the octagon.
When a Twitter user asked the 'Diamond' if he'll be fighting in December, he responded with a Santa Claus emoji.
Both UFC fighters' tweets have had fans dreaming of the idea of a blockbuster rematch for later this year.

While another UFC fan questioned: "Conor December 14, t mobile arena?"
A third, Brandon++, posted: "Oh s**t I think he's fighting mcgregor."
And Ludo Renardet added: "Vs Conor? Good challenge to accept in Ireland! Champ!"
Poirier, who suffered a defeat at the hands of McGregor in
2014, called out the 'Notorious' after his defeat to Khabib at UFC 242.
