Jake Paul clearly wasn't happy after hearing that Conor McGregor's return was confirmed during his first MMA fight card.
In the early hours of Sunday morning, Most Valuable Promotions, the combat sports promotion company established by Paul, hosted their first MMA event at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California.
UFC legend Ronda Rousey ended her nine-and-a-half year absence from the sport with a 17-second submission victory over Gina Carano in the main event of the card.
Earlier in the evening, Mike Perry secured a second round finish over Nate Diaz while Francis Ngannou added another devastating knockout to his already impressive highlight reel.

However, the biggest news during the MVP fight card didn't come from the event as, just as Ngannou was making his ring walk, UFC boss Dana White confirmed McGregor would make his return to the octagon in July.
The Irishman is set to face former foe Max Holloway in the main event of the international fight week event in Las Vegas on July 11, and it's safe to say that Paul isn't impressed.
“Ohh the c—head is back? That’s cool, bro. Drop it during our event, it doesn’t matter that just shows how pressed they are," Paul said during the post-fight press conference.
“Little insecure boys trying to piggyback off our event and trying to put some news over top of us, it’s not going to work, buddy.”
Paul's reaction comes amid his frequent clashes with UFC President and CEO White over various topics including fighter pay, with the pair clearly not fans of each other.
It also comes after Paul had been calling McGregor out for a boxing fight for several years, brutally mocking the former UFC champion with various posts on social media.
Ronda Rousey reacts to Conor McGregor v Max Holloway annoucement
Like Paul, Rousey clearly wasn't too impressed by the UFC's decision to make the announcement of their biggest fight of the year just as the first of three main events on MVP's debut MMA outing was set to begin.
“It’s kinda catty. But it also shows that they see MVP MMA as a threat that they would do it in that moment,” Rousey said post-fight.
“It’s also a compliment because it elevates MVP MMA and makes their [declaration] that they see us as a real rival. That’s such a compelling story, and now they’re helping us tell it.”
Rousey spent nearly four years fighting in the UFC before retiring from MMA in 2016 and was the first female fighter inducted into the UFC Hall of Fame in 2018.
Jake Paul sends clear warning to Dana White during Rousey v Carano
Despite the news in the UFC, Paul was clearly happy with how his promotion's first MMA event went as he claimed the card, which was broadcast live on Netflix, set new records.
Speaking immediately after Rousey's victory, he said: "You will definitely see more. We were breaking records tonight, this is one of the most viewed MMA events in history and it's all credit to these women, to Francis, to Mike, to Nate.
"They put it all on the line and MVP is just getting warmed up in MMA and you're going to see a lot of us.
"White House, Dana White, all of you, be prepared, because this is the takeover."
