Kamaru Usman Vs Nate Diaz And Jorge Masvidal Vs Conor McGregor Simulated On UFC 4

The welterweight fights would be massive in real life right now, but Dana White isn't likely to be signing them up just yet.

The welterweight division in UFC is one of the most exciting around and two fights which would be huge have been simulated on EA Sports UFC 4, due out later this year.

Kamaru Usman beat Jorge Masvidal at UFC 251 just over a week ago, with the loss for Gamebred being attributed by some to the EA curse, having been announced as being on the cover of UFC 4 earlier that day.

The loss leaves the BMF champion wondering who his next fight will be against. Leading up to the Fight Island showdown, UFC president Dana White admitted Masvidal vs Conor McGregor might well be the biggest fight he could make.

Lots of people are interested in what would happen if the two big mouthed, big striking, MMA stars faced off and someone has simulated it on EA's latest UFC game.

Those last couple of rounds would easily make this an instant classic, in the same way both of McGregor's fights at welterweight against Nate Diaz were.

Both men rock each other with big shots and down their opponents but are unable to finish. Just as the Irishman looks to be getting the win with another big shot, Masvidal recovers to hit him with a spinning backhand and ends the fight.

Speaking of Diaz. The Stockton Slugger isn't in any rush to get back in the octagon as far as we know, after his loss to Masvidal last year, but a fight for the title might get him back on a card.

A fight between Diaz and champ Usman has also been simulated, although only for three rounds instead of five, and the result is a bit more predictable.

Usman uses his excellent wrestling skills, which were called 'boring' by some during his win at UFC 251, to beat Diaz on points.

Of course the 35-year-old was denied the 'championship rounds' by the doctor when he faced Masvidal for the BMF title last year and that's the case here too, which is a shame considering that's often when he does his best work.

That fight is even less likely that Masvidal vs McGregor with the Nigerian Nightmare likely to defend his title against Gilbert Burns next.

The champ has also called out Georges St Pierre for a potential mega fight with the UFC legend who retired in 2017.
