Jannik Sinner defeated Carlos Alcaraz in a thrilling Wimbledon final earlier this year, and the clash will live long in the memory of tennis fans around the world.
The world No. 1 claimed the first set, but Sinner struck back in style to claim a 4-6 6-4 6-4 6-4 victory in SW19 and lift the iconic trophy for the first time ever.
Sinner may have enjoyed an outstanding season, but the Italian star was unable to add the 2025 US Open to his Grand Slam collection earlier this month.
The 24-year-old faced Alcaraz yet again in the final in Flushing Meadows, but this time around he fell to a 6-2 3-6 6-1 6-4 as his Spanish rival claimed the sixth Grand Slam of his career.

The pair also went head-to-head in the final of the 2025 French Open in June, putting on another classic.

Alcaraz was forced to battle back from two sets down to beat his Italian opponent 4-6 6-7(4) 6-4 7-6(3)7-6(2) in one of the great Grand Slam finals in living memory.
All three finals will stand the test of time, but the team in charge of Centre Court at Wimbledon seem more eager than ever to keep the memories alive.

Sports journalist Bastien Fachan has reported that stadium staff have left the scoreboard on the same scoreline that it was on at the end of the final, despite the match taking place over two months ago now.
“Instagram Story of a friend visiting Wimbledon today,” he posted on X.
“Poetic that the scoreboard stays still after the last point was played, like time has stopped for a year.”
Alcaraz was in action last weekend in the Laver Cup, where he suffered a shock defeat against the USA’s Taylor Fritz before beating Argentina’s Francisco Cerundolo.
