Piers Morgan has been criticised for views he has expressed on social media about Wimbledon which he has posted a matter of hours before the women's singles final takes place.
The 2025 edition of Wimbledon at the All England Tennis Club is approaching its climax with finals taking place on Saturday and Sunday.
Jannik Sinner faces champion Carlos Alcaraz on Centre Court on Sunday, with the latter seeking to win his third Wimbledon men's singles title in a row.
The women's doubles also takes place on Sunday as Su-Wei Hsieh and Jelena Ostapenko play Elise Mertens and Veronika Kudermetova, but before then, two more titles will be decided on Saturday.

British pair Julian Cash and Lloyd Glasspool face David Pel and Rinky Hikikata in the men's doubles final, before the women's singles final takes place this afternoon as Amanda Anisimova plays against Iga Swiatek.
Anisimova is playing in her first ever Grand Slam final, as is Swiatek and it means there will be a brand new Wimbledon women's champion crowned.
Swiatek has five Grand Slam crowns to her name so far, which includes four triumphs at the French Open and a win at the US Open.
But Wimbledon is not the only major sporting event taking place in London this weekend.

The third test of the cricket series between England and India is currently taking place at Lord's and is into its third day.
The five-test series is currently level at 1-1 following England's victory at Headingley and India's triumph at Edgbaston, before it moves on to matches at Old Trafford and The Oval.
Broadcaster Morgan is a well known sports fan, being a passionate Arsenal supporter and a keen viewer of cricket.

But he has been slammed for his views on Wimbledon after he criticised it being on at the same time as the Lord's test match and took a dim view of tennis as a sport.
Taking to X, he wrote: "Anyone who goes to Wimbledon during a Lord’s Test match should give their head a wobble.
"One is the greatest event of the English sporting summer season, the other is people not skilled enough to play cricket, hitting a few balls over a net."
And people have been critical of Morgan's view to make it clear they disagree with him, even going so far as to label his opinions 'demeaning'.

One person wrote: "You cannot praise a thing without demeaning the other??"
Another responded: "Piers. Seriously. I rarely disagree with you but THAT comment is outrageous."
And another person replied: "Sounds like you couldn't get tickets for Wimbledon."
One person added: "Both games are good. It's subjective."

And another made the point: "It’s okay if you don’t like the sport but don’t put down the ones who like Tennis. They could say the same asking you who would watch cricket when Wimbledon is on!"
