Jason Momoa admits he was 'star-struck' when he met the All Blacks rugby team in New Zealand over the weekend.

Having previously lived in that part of the world, the Hollywood megastar is a known All Blacks super-fan.

It's understood he even owns an All Blacks jersey from 1991 that he takes with him wherever he travels.

So when Momoa bumped into the legendary team during his visit to New Zealand, he was understandable buzzing.

A bunch of the players responded, showing love to Aquaman himself.

Rieko Ioane commented: "My uso."

While Caleb Clarke said: "Braddah."

The All Blacks' official account replied too, saying: "Good to meet you brother."

The big-time actor is currently in New Zealand filming his new television series Chief of War.

He clearly has some very strong ties to the nation and even carries around a 1991 All Blacks jersey with him whenever he goes away.

"It is one of the greatest presents I have ever been given," Momoa said.

"I never leave home without it. It always travels with me."
