Exeter Chiefs progressed to the quarter final of the EPCR Challenge Cup with a 31-21 victory over Munster at Sandy Park.
The English side were immense in the first half as they went 31-0 up, using the huge breeze to their advantage before staving off a spirited comeback from the Irish province in the second half.
While congratulations will be shared throughout the team for the performance they put in against Munster, one Exeter player will steal the headlines for his try in the dying minutes of the first half.
Immanuel Feyi-Waboso was deemed fit enough to start for Exeter in this huge European clash, but he would only last 45 minutes in his first performance back following a hamstring injury he sustained ahead of England’s Six Nations campaign.

The show that the 21-year-old put on against Munster demonstrated exactly what Steve Borthwick’s England were missing during the Six Nations, and fans of the nation were excited to see him back on the pitch today.
Feyi-Waboso did not miss a beat as he was key in attack for Exeter, as he beat 11 Munster defenders in just 45 minutes, but his standout moment was his try when he weaved his way past six tacklers.
Fans on social media were impressed by this score and his performance upon his return to action.
One said: “Immanuel Feyi-Waboso is back with a bang. Lethal try and some massive carries on a few other attacks. What a player.”
Another added: “Immanuel Feyi-Waboso has been injured so much I was beginning to question my memories of how talented he was. My memories were not wrong. Freak.”
While one said: “That's an outrageous finish by Feyi-Waboso. Runs as far infield as he does forward. That's a guy with a natural knack for beating defenders.”
A fan spoke about just how different England’s fortunes could have been in February and March, as they said: “England’s 6 Nations could have looked a lot different had Feyi-Waboso been available.”
Now Exeter will face either Cardiff or Benetton Treviso in the next round of the EPCR Challenge Cup, and the English side will be full of confidence knowing they have their talisman back and in form, while the URC sides will need to find a way to stop the England international if they want to lift the trophy in Bilbao.
