For some October now means just one thing, Halloween! And that is apparently the case for Eugenie Bouchard with the tennis ace asking her fans for costume ideas, only that itself wasn't the smartest idea.
In recent years Halloween has become more and more mainstream in England as the country has adopted more American culture, like proms, than we ever should have. Personally it's just something that gets in the way of me celebrating my birthday.
One only needs to head to Twitter to see the numerous 'hilarious' spooky takes on a person's handle to see just how much people get into it these days and even Canadian tennis star Genie Bouchard wants to get involved.

The world number 79 has dropped from her fifth place ranking of three years ago somewhat and that was the defining theme of those responding after the 24 year-old took to Twitter to ask for advice on what to be this year:
And it goes on like that quite a bit.

Of course some of the animosity towards her will come from Maria Sharapova fans and not her own. Back in April when the Russian returned to the sport Bouchard made her feelings clear saying, "She's a cheater and so to me, I don't think a cheater in any sport should be allowed to play that sport again."
Those comments didn't go down well with the Sharapova fan girls or the former Grand Slam winner herself.
Bouchard was also inundated with plenty of people telling her to be 'my date' or 'my girlfriend' for Halloween, she probably couldn't think of many more scary experiences to be fair!
