The former Chelsea and Arsenal goalkeeper, who called time on his glittering professional football career at the end of last season, has swapped the football pitch for the ice rink.

The 37-year-old will be playing as a netminder for the semi-pro club for the remainder of the campaign and he's "delighted" to play for the Surrey-based team.
"I am delighted to have the opportunity to play with the Pheonix to get the match experience," he said.
"I hope I can help this young team to achieve their goals for the season and try to win as many games as possible when I have the chance to play.
"After 20 years of professional football this is going to be a wonderful experience for me to play the game I loved to watch and play as a kid."

"He is a great guy who trains hard and I cannot wait to see him make his debut."

The towering-Czech enjoyed a trophy-laden 15-year spell in England with Chelsea and Arsenal, and he kept a staggering 202 clean sheets in the Premier League.
He won the Premier league four times, the FA Cup four times, the League Cup three times and claimed the coveted Champions League with Chelsea in the 2011/12 season.
Cech, who still works at Chelsea as a technical and performance advisor, will make his ice hockey debut on Sunday.
